Conditions
Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) and outdoor coaching are extremely gentle forms of exercise, requiring a moderate level of fitness, in forest or woodland settings.
In a session, participants are advised that we will travel about 1-2miles over uneven ground, and to arrive with correct footwear, and appropriate clothing (and water) for the time of year. If in doubt, please check with Tansy. When booking you will be sent an email with details on what to wear and bring to help you prepare.
You will also be sent a simple health and safety form asking you to confirm and disclose any health conditions that may affect your ability to participate or could be a potential risk while you are outside. This is required to ensure your safety while in our care and is treated as strictly confidential.
ANY MOBILITY OR HEALTH ISSUES MUST BE NOTIFIED IN ADVANCE, AND WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TURN PEOPLE AWAY IF THEY HAVE NOT DISCLOSED ANY MOBILITY PROBLEMS BEFORE ANY EVENT OR SESSION.
In the event of extreme weather conditions, a decision will be taken based on Met Office advice, and either a full refund will be offered, or an alternative date will be offered.
Cancellation policy
Events
Places on all my events are limited to ensure quality time and space for your well-being. Your place can only be confirmed once I have received payment. In the event you need to cancel your place, I do require 7 days' notice to be able to give you a refund as this allows me enough time to try to fill your place. If you cancel within that time, I can only promise a refund if I manage to fill your place and if I don’t, I am happy to move you onto another date within 2 months of the original date. In the event of extreme weather, I will always postpone the event and you will be offered the choice of a refund or to be automatically booked onto the new date.
Coaching Programmes
A full refund of fees, less £30 admin fee will be given if cancellation is within 30 days
£60 admin fee will be deducted if cancellation is within 14 days. No refund offered if cancelled within 7 days. Any transfer to a later date will incur a £30 admin fee.
If an attendee is unable to attend their chosen dates for health or other unavoidable reasons, we will offer 2 more sets of dates to enable them to attend or complete their programme. We only offer refunds at our discretion, and taking into account any mitigating circumstances. If the offer of the 2 sets of dates is not taken up the place is void, and no further dates will be offered or refunds considered.
